[OOC2] Connections, Timeline, Contact

So, one of the joys of having a less-developed character is doing the development yourself. I have a way that I view Shizune, but I want your input on how other characters are tied to her (present and past). Did they know each other before she left years ago with Tsunade or did they only meet after their return? Were they genin teammates, childhood crush? Did she save your life more than a few times ~~and you now owe her your soul~~? Are you friends once she's off duty and loosens up a bit? I want to know your input so that we can have better interactions in logs and such.

I have more details to fill in for the timeline and connections, but I want to see how it matches up with other people's thoughts first.

Timeline:
November 18-Shizune is born.

~11 mo.-Father is killed in action.

Age 10-Shizune graduates from the Academy only to come home to find Dan waiting for her with news that her mother has been killed. She moves in with Dan as he's the closest family she has left. It's more than a bit of a change for them both.

Age 11 or 12-Dan introduces Shizune to Tsunade who becomes her mentor.

Age 13-Shizune makes chuunin. Two weeks later, Dan is killed in battle. She decides to leave Konoha to remain at Tsunade's side.

Age 28-After meeting up with Naruto and Jiraiya, she and Tsunade finally return to Konoha. Shizune again becomes an active duty shinobi while staying on as Tsunade's attendant and one of the senior-most medics in the village.

Age 30/31-Present day.

Family:
Father - Deceased. Killed by enemy nin before her first birthday. She remembers only the sound of his laugh and only when a familiar sound triggers it.

Mother - Deceased. Killed during a mission the day Shizune graduated from the Academy. She might have lived had it been policy to include medics on all teams. Point of interest- Shizune's hitai-ate is buried with her mother, who'd lost her own in battle. She only ever wore it one day and has never worn one since. The replacement in her pouch is still as new as the day it was given to her 21 years ago.

Uncle (Dan) - Deceased. Killed by enemy nin shortly after Shizune made chuunin. She'd been living with him for the approx. three years since her mother's death. He was the last of her immediate family.

This is an RP journal belonging to malinear. It is for use in the RP Community of second_advent. If you are not a part of that community (ie: if you are someone from the previous community this journal was a part of), please do not comment here.

And if you are part of second_advent and have not yet been added as a friend, well...blame Tsunade. After all, Shizune is only one person and somebody has to make sure the work actually gets done. ^.^ If you leave a note with Tonton, she will amend the situation shortly.
